I have poured many 55 gallon drums full of epoxy for commercial and industrial uses and with out exception they work good for 6, 8 even to a year before something heavy is dropped onto them and the epoxy LIFTS off of the sub straight (the sub straight can be wood tables, concrete, simulated granite counter tops, stainless steel, machine shop type wooden floors [safety floors] or bar tops).

After this an expensive repair is needed as epoxy cost over 70 dollars a gallon and the labor is around 80 to 90 dollars an hour!!

Epoxy can hold up for extended period of time but protect against blunt force trauma!!

Also remember that portions of the lifted epoxy can be SURGICALLY repaired relatively cheaply and do not be fooled into the scam that it must be completely removed and reapplied!!!

with the number of guys with epoxy floors, maybe a tutorial on this surgical repair would be worthwhile...........and when the whack does happen, what exactly let's go?.......the bond between the parent matierial or does it tear away from same?..........this is stuff i like to hear about.........if i want to hear the pretty stuff about a product, i'll just read the brochure.........real life testimonials from owners and applicators are gold..........thanx.....
