epoxy/flake problem: I missed a spot (photo)

I am looking for suggestions on how to correct my mistake. Somehow I missed a spot (of course out in the middle where everyone will see it). I do have some flake left over, but how should I apply it? Should I use glue? Obviously I'd like it to blend in and match the surrounding flake.

The epoxy is the solvent based Rust-Oleum. I do not have any left.

Tell everyone it is an artistic feature, I do not think you can fix it without making it worse.

You should be able to hide it from everyone except you, then you will tell everyone and once they see it....

Glue some of the flakes on with the davcon or whatever 5 min epoxy that comes in those two syringe that dispense at one time together. I'm sure it is not uv stable and will show in time. Scrape and repeat every other year for $5.

thanks: Is davcon going to cure in a clear color?

What about putting down some clear coat and add flakes to the clear? Then after 1-2 days, clear coat the whole floor.

I have fixed this type of mistake a thousand times (I train rookie crews how to install polymer floors). Hopefully you plan to add a clear sealer to the floor. You can apply clear to the missed spot and broadcast flakes in that small patch. Sweep up the excess after it is cured and then Clear coat the entire floor.

No one will know about your issue except the people who have read this thread on GJ. Good luck!

Yeah, but that floor will be a bear to clean without a clear coat. You would need a pressure washer or floor scrubber to get the dirt off.

any more ideas from the weekday crowd?

so far I am leaning toward mixing up a little clear coat for the area I missed and throw some flakes on top. Wait a day, and clear the entire floor as planned.
