So i had put down my floor coating ~ 3 weeks ago

I used the Original Color chips coating with their 100% solids clear coat.

I rented a floor grinder with 30 grit diamond discs, then went back over the ENTIRE floor by hand to get all the low spots it missed... i literally spent almost 5 days prepping this floor

i then acid washed it TWICE... rinsed the HELL out of the floor and let it dry for over a day in 80 degree weather before i did the primer stage

then i did the epoxy/color chips and finally the clear coat

i kept cars out of the garage for almost 3 weeks, today was teh first time i had did ANY work in the garage

i just used my floor jack from the first time, and the spot where the roller was pushed up a bubble in the floor... and the floor jack pit divots in the coating....

WHAT GIVES?

i cant redo this entire floor....

the floor PASSED the water test before i coated

im now kind of sick to my stomach thinking about it

I'm surprised you only let it dry for a day. By contrast, when I did my floor in Las Vegas, ICI Devoe rep told me to let the floor dry after acid etch/powerwashing for at least 4 days -- and that is in the Nevada Desert at less than 10 percent humidity at 80 degrees F.

I think you should call originalcolorchips & talk to them about the issue. Only they can tell you what's up and if my comment about dry time after the final wash makes a difference to their product. It might, but it might not.

Can you post a couple pictures?

I just tried to take pictures but it's hard to see the blister, but you can feel that it has delaminated and has air underneath if I used a razor I probably could just lift a chunk off....

I've been parking my car in the garage for a week and had no issues with it.. The occ website says overnight for drying, I probably had it sit for a full 24 hrs...

Listen, even us pros get failures. There are many things that could be going on. You may have had oil residue, grease, silicone or something that acid washing did not remove. Another theory may be that you could have a high moisture rate coming through your slab. It could be that you acid washed it so much that your primer didnt adhere properly. It could be that you still have the acid reacting underneath. You literally have a ton of different reasons for failure. Most often than not its applicator error. I'm sure that the people who sold you the product will not take the blame. And who could blame them, who the hell knows what is the reason unless you physically take core sample.

Do you think that if I don't do anymore jacking directly on the surface it will survive? I figure I could put a metal plate down next time I need to Jack... It's almost like I rolled on it and it delaminated....

Any suggestions on what next?

I am also having epoxy floor issues. It's only a year old and has been peeling. I am blaming the brand I used and plan to use Aquapon next, but I don't know how to get rid of the peeling mess I have now. Any ideas?
