Hey guys, decided I'm gonna epoxy the floor of my new garage as soon as I finish up the insulation/drywall. My garage is 30x28 (840 sq ft) and the guy who done the concrete sealed 1/4 of it to see if I liked it. Turns out, I HATE IT. I hate the look of it. Now my real questions.
My concrete is 8 months old, no real oil stains or damage, just 1/4 of the pad has sealer on it that needs to be removed.
1. should I go ahead and fill the control cuts in the floor?
2. Do you guys split up the garage in half or just complete the entire application in 1 go?
4.Should I grind off the old sealer or will the acid etch do the job?
3. The garage door leaves about 8" of concrete on the outside to the "approach" that is stamped and colored, should I stop my epoxy coating at the edge of the garage door or extend it all the way out?
Thanks guys!
