Epoxy Floor in Basement

We are redoing our basement and the wife would like to do metallic epoxy. The floor has previously been acid stained and a cheap box store epoxy clear coat on top of it. At 9 years old still looks good but we want a change.
What is the best product to use, and how should we prep with out running us out of the house for days?

Not at all.
Wb primer and 100 % solids coating.

Painting your bedroom would be worse.
