Epoxy Floor Prep Gasoline Spills

I am going to DIY my floor and plan to use the Sherwin Williams roll on Product. I forget right now the brand name, they sell two. One they keep on the floor and the other they keep in the back for professionals. I'm not exactly sure yet which product I am going to use but that's a question I can answer later.

My question is about prepping the floor. I've installed many epoxy coatings, always the off the shelf roll on types. However I have never had to deal with fresh concrete and I now have a rather large gasoline spill to deal with.

The concrete is 9 months old.....My contractor took forever to finish! Anything special that needs to happen other than cleaning with the acid product that comes with the kits?

Now on to the big question.....I had a 4 wheeler parked overnight and just my luck, 1 night and it leaked gasoline on the floor. The garage is empty again but still stinks of gasoline. I open the doors daily but can't get the stink gone. So this tells me it must have sunk into the concrete pretty deep. The odd thing is there is no longer a stain. Obviously gasoline will repel the coating so what do I need to do to get rid of the gasoline soaked into the concrete and prep the floor????

I did do a few searches and got frustrated trying to find the answer. There is so much information on the forums on epoxy coatings.

Use a strong organic degreaser. Citrus based works well.

I second that one. Scrub it in and let it sit for 10 minutes or so keeping it wet. Hose it out and and you should be good.
