Hi guys, noob here. Last year I sweated and labored to get a 16 year old concrete floor epoxied. Oil and ****** fluid stains would not come up no matter what I used so I went and bought oil-stop primer. Went with the Armor Chip brand in Harley tan light with the military grade top coat. Looks great, neighbors all impressed. One year has gone by and I am getting some area that look yellowed. What could be the cause of this? What kills me is this is happening on what was the cleanest part of the old floor! :scared:

Three weeks in a hot garage and one grand later, I expect it to last a bit longer. Hopefully somebody can add some information that's a bit more helpful than the above attempt at humor. I'm an easy going guy but I take pride in my work and my things.

I had the same issue on my floor. Nobody ever figured it out....

My floor was a neogard brand tan epoxy floor like yours. With urethane top coat.

My spots were brown and random about 10 of them. Mine happened at 4 months.

My installer and the company had no ideas. My installer repaired the spots, so holding my breath.

I actually had yellow stained epoxy from my dog peeing on it.

Scotty,
I really can't remember 100% but I would say no. That's where the wife's car was parked, no leaks. I did the whole floor in oil stop so I would be surprised but you are the expert so if you say that's what they look like, I defer to your opinion. Some of those spots do see direct sunlight but the other side recieves much more and there are no problems what so ever.

What is the fix? Sand it off on the affected areas , re-prime, re-epoxy, etc?

Now that you say oil stop.....
If the oil stop had a soft spot it could bleed. It's tar based. Especially over a light topcoat like tan or beige.

Yes, a recoat in the affected would work, take it to the concrete just in case the oil stop is bleeding.
Wait a few months to see if it gets worse.
