Epoxy flooring in a working shop?

I like the epoxy floors with glitter on them as much as anyone, but does it make sense to go to all that work in a shop where welding and cutting is going on? I'm asking for my own shop. I weld and cut regularly in there.

There are better options as you will get burn marks if this is a common occurrence and you won't protect your floor.

Densify the floor (penetrative sealing) or look at porcelain tile.

Bdamico will steer you right!!

Epoxy floors look beautifulul but some of the ones I've been in seem to scuff. I had a densifier sealer put down when my floor was poured and it still looks good after 5 years.
