I spoke to c6 rocket today when he called. He has a unique situation and just can't spell out all of the issues. We spoke at some length about it. I'm not going to mention the company that this came from but will say... it wasn't us! (lol... wooo hooo)...

Anyway, this company has basically one stance that they have given when something went wrong... "You screwed up... bye". Basically, c6 has come here out of frustration because he can't get any straight answers from the manufacturer. And, it's because the manufacturer is NOT the manufacturer. c6 is really frustrated as I'm sure that you can all imagine. So, please try to cut him a little slack. I'm not sure whether the problem is his fault or not at this point but I think he would have been a whole lot less frustrated if the 'manufactuer' could give him any clue about how this could even happen.

Alot of people get burned this way... In fact... This subject probably deserves it's own thread.

First of all I would like to give a BIG thank you to Eric. He spent his own time explaining, in detail, what could have gone wrong. I only wish I would havd known Eric and Wolverine Coatings earlier. However, Eric was very helpful in a time when I was abandoned from the "other" supplier. We have figured out what happened. Improper mixing. It is a long story. The way we found out was to take a sample from part A and B and mix together in a bucket. We watched the chemical reaction take place. After a thorough mixing we allowed the product to react. One (1) hour later, the epoxy was as hard as a rock.

Thank you to all who have helped. I must personally thank Eric once again for all your support and guidance. If I had to do it all again, I would have called Wolverine Coatings.

I know for a fact that the Quikrete brand made by Valspar had some issues with some bad epoxy a year or so ago, was wondering if he had bought one of those a retailer didnt return to Valspar on their recall.

C6, what do you now plan to do now going forward? are you going to try to remove the product somehow? or do a proper mixing of what you have left & apply over the existing material? Or something else?

Best of luck

I have purchased a product called Tuff 2000 semi paste. This is applied to the existing floor and will remove the old epoxy floor. I have been working on this for days. it is a slow process, but it is working. Once I remove the old epoxy flooring, I will try to apply a replacement epoxy floor. I will make sure I mix it properly this time. I can not blame the product or the supplier on this one. It was totally my fault.
