OK,no more rolling your eyes. Thinking outside box here, there are so many members here who rave about their flooring in their shop. So if they are that good and still look good over several yrs of foot traffic, rolling tool boxes and cars. What about say the kitchen in house or say the Man Cave with bar that is in garage or shop? Myself I am right in middle of redoing my kitchen and haven't made a decision on flooring, so the epoxy flooring looks more commercial and just tough. What's ya'll thoughts on epoxy flooring for kitchen in house or like saying the ole Man Cave?

Why not ? I've seen the more 'artistic' epoxy floors done in restaurants and bars. The type with swirls and such rather than the chips. I've done acid etched concrete floors in entire houses with slab-on-grade.

If your design supports it, then I'm all for it. Just be prepared for the echo. Break it up with rugs and softer items to lessen the reverb.

We sell tens of thousands of square feet a year of epoxy for interior residential use. The metallic epoxies are very popular now and have endless design possibilities.

We just sold a large home project that used mica flecks around 8,000 squre feet..customer super happy.
