Epoxy for small area

Hi everyone,

A few years ago, based on opinions and recommendations from this forum, I did the floor of my 2-car garage using an epoxy kit from the big box store. I was, and continue to be, very pleased with the result.

I've now just about completed construction of a small storage shed attached to one exterior wall of the garage, and I'd like to treat its floor in a similar manner. The shed has its own slab, poured about 6 weeks ago, and is currently roofed and weather-tight. The problem is that it's only about 90 square feet, so I don't really need another 2-car garage size kit, and don't really have anywhere else that will need this type of floor.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a smaller quantity of the 2-part epoxy coating? This floor won't really get a lot of activity, so I suppose other floor coverings could be an option, as well.

Thanks for your help,
--Mike

The home improvement store type of kits aren't sold in smaller sized quantities. You could always measure out the part-A and part-B separately in able to mix individual batches and put down more coats.

Some of the vendors here sell much higher quality coatings that are sometimes available in quart and 1/2 gallons sizes. Pricing for smaller quantities may be close to that of the home improvement store kits. If they do, I'm sure one of them will let you know.

We offer a one car kit called an Add On Kit for our Armorclad epoxy. It's still more than you need, but only mix what is needed and you can double coat it.

See www.armorcladepoxy.com. Thanks!

I was in a similar position doing my 3m X 3m (~10' X 10') dog kennel. I've ended up applying more coats than required to use up product as I won't need it anytime soon. Shelf life for the stuff I bought was 12 months.
