After countless hours researching, I pulled the trigger and had my floor professionally done today. Overall, it seemed to be a great value at $2/ft for a diamond grind, 100% solids epoxy floor, with a 10 year warranty. The product was one that no one on the board had any feedback on (Tennant MPE); however so far it looks great. I'm looking forward to getting the garage back together in a few days.

Thanks for all of the info guys!

Thanks guys...

I just tip toed across it for the first time to take a closer look and it looks pretty good; however it is definitely going to need another day or two before moving everything back in.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys.

A few more projects and I should have the garage pretty dialed in. Next steps are finishing the trim around the doors, painting the cabinet doors over the garage doors, and adding a black steel wainscoting to keep the snow/slush off the sheetrock in the winter.

Correct, i believe it was a good value for the $ and the floor looks great! PM for the details on the contractor as he has a refferal program and I would be willing to show mine / recommend him as a potential vendor.

Looks good, very good value and has anti slip plus vinyl chips plus 10yr warranty. Update in a few months to tell us how it stands up to water and snow for anti slip and cleaning.

Very nice - can you shoot me a pm with some details? I'll be finishing up my shop this year and I'm thinking about coating the flooring before I get into anything serious...

I have been thinking to get my slab done this year too and this is a good place to start. Can I have some info of the contractor you used please?

Thanks.

Could you also send me a message on the company that did this for you?

I am quoting a couple companies and I live in MN.

Thank you.

Looks good, good price, too. by the looks of things around here, I reckon the contractor should be giving you $ for referrals.

with 100% solids were they able to roll it on or did it have to be troweled on?

I live in WBL MN and did mine myself (720 sqft - 6" walls) - my quotes were closer to $3 psf. If I could have had someone do it for $2 I'd have gone that route - yours looks very nice!

What was the name/company?

I have a friend who called me last week asking about doing epoxy in the garage he just bought before moving everything in - his new house is in Blaine.

Holy smokes guys...sorry I have not been on the board for awhile and have not got back to everyone.

The vendor does actually have a referral program which is why I have not directly posted his contact info. PM me and I would be happy to give you all of the details and would even be willing to show you the floor if your in MN in trade for the referral.

I have been very pleased with the floor to date. It seems to be holding up very nicely and looks like new.

I talked to him last fall and now I'm ready to get my flloor done but his phone had been disconnected.

Can someone please recommend a different company?

Thanks.
