Has anyone done this? Wondering if it would be worthwhile to epoxy a brushed finish garage floor, i think the chips with the epoxy shield kit might be a issue getting them to lay flat. Appreciate yer thoughts...

Generally speaking the epoxy will follow the texture and pattern of the floor. Options to improve this are lay the epoxy out thick with a calibrated notched squeegee and let it self level (prime first so the epoxy won't sink into the floor), or do a full chip broadcast to help fill in the broom marks (make sure to epoxy and urethane, or double coat urethane over the chips if you do this).

Make sure you use a 100% solids epoxy, not home center stuff, that won't work well at all.
