Hi

I have 2 quotes for my 27x13 home garage flooring.

First one is 100% epoxy with two layers with flakes and complete in an 2 day process and ticker is asking 6.5$ per SQ/FT

second one is polyurea also two layers with flakes and completed in 1 day process and thinner is asking 5$ per SQ/FT

I use my garage mainly word working and car maintenance like oil and tire change. also my garage have minimal sunlight exposure.

my concern with the expoxy is car hot tire mark , the color fading overtime and the rigidity(crack overtime).

each preaching for their own product so i cant decide .

any advice would be appreciated.

I'm assuming that the missing layer is a prime coat.... 100% solids base coat without a prime coat is a no-no in my world.

The thicker floors can be more impact resistant, but either one properly installed should give many, many years of good life.
