That's like asking Blondes or Brunettes. Each person will have a different answer, and why.

Search, this has been covered, and there is enough info on each to make an informed decision.

I would also like the answer to this. I had epoxy in a previous garage and thought it was ok but kind of slippery even with the flakes. Of course, I used the cheap Quik-Crete stuff from Lowes and no clear coat. My neighbor just put down Rock Solid which is much nicer than what I used but it took him four days to do and he ended up with some bubbling on his clear coat. I have samples of the RaceDeck and they seem to be well made. The one thing holding me back on the RaceDeck is being able to actually see it in someones garage. I can't see spending $1000.00 on something I have never walked on. I live near Detroit but would drive up to 200 miles to do so. The one plus about tile is you can take it with you when you move.

My thoughts at the moment: I put down epoxy, regret it and it cost me about $800... Am now looking at the snap together plastic/rubber floor covering.

and also RaceDeck... hard to decide and all very epxensive and after tons of problems with my shop build, I'm short on money. Thinking about just doing part of my 1500 sq ft shop. Can't use at my welding station so don't really need to cover the whole shop.
It's all pretty expensive but epoxy comes off after a while, brake fluid eats epoxy up...
Here's what Jay Leno said about his $40,000 epoxy floor and snap together Swisstrax.
