Epoxy over new VCT floor?

I would think that you would be ripe for problems if:

1. the VCT tile pulls away form the concrete.
2. The Tile is not designed for paint to adhere. You will have to sand the VCT to get the epoxy to stick to it

If I was in your position I would remove the tile and all the adhesive and then clean and etch the cement and then put down the epoxy.

Just curious why would you want to epoxy over your tile? Disappointed in the looks? or in the performance?:wtf:
