Hello All - I see that epoxy coatings is a popular subject around here so I'm hoping to get some suggestions on brands that are being used. I'm coating my basement workshop slab - approximately 250 SQ FT . I know floor prep is key, but hoping to figure out whether the big box store stuff is good, or if there are other systems that work better. Thank you in advance.

Lots of postings here regarding box stores. Our company policy is to not comment on competitors products, but you will get a much, much better product by dealing with one of the vendors who participates in the GJ.

Buy it from some guy in a dark alley wearing shades and a raincoat out of the back of an unmarked truck before buying from any big box store.
