I have a Hunter scissors lift for the alignment rack, purchased new 4 years ago. Being in the heart of the rust belt, salt from vehicles in the winter is taking its toll. The original finish is powder coating, and the runways are really getting bad.

I’d like to use some sort of epoxy paint or coating that I can do myself. I’d like to keep the color red. Looking for some advice on which product to use and any tips on application. Thanks!

Sherwin Willians Macropoxy 646. Tintable so they can batch colors pretty well

Remove grease and dirt w solvent. Sandblast the tracks, or just wire brush. Cleaner the better.

Hvlp, two coats ideal. Follow the tech sheet. They sell it via their industrial coating division.
