Hi Guys / Gals,

I've been reading these post for a couple months and have selected Epoxy Coat Premium kit for my 440 sq garage. I know that preparation is the biggest part of the job and want advice before pouring.

I've cleaned and done two etching (one with the standard prep provided in the kit and another with some Home Deport Muratic acid). The etching in the kit didn't do much so decided on a second coat which did the trick. The floor is a bit rough, not quite 120 grit sand paper, more like 220...should I be pouring another coat of acid? Please see pics..let me know your thoughts.

I'm not sure about the roughness, but it looks like you have a whitish residue almost everywhere except where some sort of (thin) water stream directly blasted it away. I've seen advice on here several times that you need to pressure wash it with the proper nozzle as to remove the deposits...

Run your finger over the surface. After I (and neighbor) etched ours (his with muratic) we both had a chalky film that came off on our finger. After pressure washing it went away.
