I have a 2 part epoxy I put down 2 years ago. After work and use it's starting to loose its shine. My question is, could I rent a floor sander/buffer to scotch floor, clean it and re clear coat the floor? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can. You can use a pole sander or a floor buffer with a good scotch pad or sandpaper to rough up and degloss the finish. Wipe down with denatured alcohol and then apply your clear coat.

I have a few spots of dis coloring on my floor. My epoxy is gray with black sprinkles. Two or three spots the size of my hand that are brown. Will this sand out? Thanks
