Epoxy Question

Hey guys I used a 2 part industrial epoxy with clear coat 3 years ago in my shop. The floor is starting to yellow (clear) quite a bit. I was thinking of renting a floor buffer and sanding the floor to scuff it up and re clear the floor. Has anyone done this? Will it work and epoxy bond? Thanks

I think you can screen the floor as you want but I think the yellow of the clear coat will show through the new clear coat. Epoxy yellows over time. Maybe if you really screen out the current epoxy clear coat and use a non-epoxy clear coat, such as a urethane, you might be able to get the yellow out.

10-4!! Use a pigmented urethane and it will "amber" no more.
