Has anyone used this product? I did a quick search and didn't find anything. I just saw it on Rustoleum's website. It claims to add more protection on top of epoxy floors and add a glossy showroom shine. Sounds good to me. I think it is solvent based.

I just put it down last week (on top of the water based floor paint). All I can say is WOW, what a differance! It looks Great! I did the third car side last week and am going to paint the rest this week. I used the anti-skid additive and it gives it a good texture while still looking great.

Did you use the anti-skid additive in the clear coating? Can you see the particles in the clear topping?

I did use the anti skid particles. Standing up and looking down, they are not noticeable. If you get down on your hand and knees, you can see them. I could not imagine not putting them down. It would be slick as ice without them when the floor gets wet.

i just did my 60' x 32' garage.... i used rust oleum industrial grade a kit that was 2.5 gallons and covered 500 square feet. On top of it i got from lowes clear coat by rust oleum. I also would not leave out the anti skid...I have a 12" wall on one side of garage and put clear coat on that but after it has dried now a lot of it dripped down on floor so the corner of wall and slab has about 5 coat equivalent but no anti skid... SLICK SLICK when wet. Any wall the clear coat works great... on application hard to tell where you have done already so come up with system.

I bought the kit to use as a clear topcoat on my epoxy-coat floor, but i returned it when i read in the instructions that it may yellow if exposed to sunlight. The rep at Epoxy-coat told me to use an UV resistant Urethane for a top coat. I'm still looking.

Russellbp - did you find another rustoleum clear coat at lowes that is not the epoxy kit?

Where are you finding the clear coat at,? No one in my area of NC seems to have this stuff.

Thanks,
Wes

Lowe's carries it, my local one has stacks of them.

There must be some laws in NC that regulate the stuff significantly as the only Professional grade stuff I could locate with in the triangle area was dated 2004 and was covered in dust. I ended up having to go about 30 miles west of Chapel Hill (45 mile west of Raleigh) to get my hands on the Professional Rustoleum at Lowes.

None of the lowes I have checked carry the clear. Where did they have it stocked in your local Lowes?

Thanks
Wes
