Just finished my floors. Thought i would share. I put a lot of prep time into them. Hope it pays off and they last. before and after. I did do a clear coat over the epoxy and flake. I ended up using a lot more flake then what came in the kits.

Looks good.

I'm doing Rust Bullet in a few weeks. Just got the supplies.

How much flake did you end up using. The calculators I'm using say I'll need 90 lbs of the stuff for full coverage. That seems like a crazy amount of flake (not to mention crazy expensive).

I used 20 bags at 1 pound a piece

What kind of floor prep did you end up doing? I have a new 40x40 I am planning to do and I am leaning towards renting the floor maintainer with a diamabrush and dust collector attached from home depot and scuffing mine up.

I did a ton of floor prep. Spent a lot of time cleaning, prepping, cleaning, scraping, cleaning, etching then more cleaning. So much time my wife was asking if i just did not want to spend time with her anymore. The floor was 15 years old. My thoughts were to treat it like auto body work. Put the time in now and reap the rewards for years to come. heard bad stories about people not putting the time in and having it peel up or just not hold up.
