Hi everyone, I’ve been searching around the forums but haven’t seen a discussion of a flooring type that I got a quote for. It may be called epoxy stone? It’s essentially just river rock pebbles epoxied together. The company that quoted me is kreativedriveways and here is a link to their gallery: https://kreativedriveways.com/basement-&-garage-floors
I was referred to them after getting a quote to level the garage floor. My floor has settled in the center and there are a lot of cracks and some old holes that were patched that are coming up now. The guy who was gonna raise it recommended them because he thought it would provide the best hiding of imperfections once leveled.
I also got a quote from a company called HelloGarage who will level it, repair the cracks, diamond grind and then put a polyascorbic coat with flakes on. The all in price for each is about the same but I was hoping someone could opine on whether the stone option is actually better or worse than a chemical coating option.
