Epoxy Top Coat w/ Spikes

So I've got my Epoxy flooring down and flaked, I'm approaching the 48hr cure mark and I'm going to be doing the topcoat, clear epoxy.

I'd like to continue using my spike shoes as it's much easier to backroll and make sure I didn't miss a section however I was curious if It's OK to do so with cured/partially cured epoxy. Will they leave marks?

Not sure who is advising you but going over 24 hours without further prep is dangerous territory. Yes, you can use the spikes, but be careful, it will be especially slippery and if you slide and make some marks there is no hiding it.

I would probably go without, there is no need for you to be walking in the clear-coat.

I wouldn’t use the spikes, as stated no reason to be on the wet top coat and the epoxy should handle the foot traffic with out incident. I did my epoxy Monday morning, then walked on it the next morning rolling on the top coat.

yup not needed. Have them on hand in case you have an emergency like a cat walking through it or you paint yourself into a corner. Don't laugh almost happened to me.......not the cat one

No need to use spikes when applying topcoat, but Legacy is right on when over 48 hours you may need to re-prep for adhesion.
