Might be a simple question, does it matter what the base epoxy color is if your planning on doing a full broadcast of fleck?
Just starting on my garage rebuild and this is one if the questions on my list.

Does it and should it :)

In theory it should not matter.

In practice, most DIY applications are not perfect, so using a base that complements your flake is a very very good idea.

Makes perfect sense, thanks.
I plan on picking up a kit within the next few weeks and just wanted to make sure I make the right decision. So many options to choose from it seems.

The reason that you want the base color to be similar in color and/or tone as your flake combo is that the base color can ghost through in sections if the full flake coverage isn't spot on everywhere.

We agree, akeays try to get the base color close to your fleck blend in case of light coverage in an area.
