Hi All- I have a 960 square foot garage, concrete was just poured about 4 weeks ago. I like the flaked look for epoxy, the wife prefers solid. I was looking into solid flake so you get the texture but can't tell from the pictures if I will like it. Anyone have any ideas?

I suggest Google images for "full broadcast epoxy." It will raise costs significantly if you do heavy broadcast flake.

If you are considering the solid color flake floor strictly for the texture then, as SolarColumbia correctly noted, it will raise costs significantly. If your interest in texture is driven by a need for slip resistance and/or wanting to avoid the dust enhancing super high gloss finish, then you might consider a solid color floor with a traction additive in the final clear coat.

This is an example of our LiquaTile 1184 in Silver Gray clear coated with EnduraShield 2254 hybrid-polyurethane with and without our SpheriTex 110 traction additive:

Yea flake won’t create texture. Use anti slip and x2 if the family will be out there. Be aware it won’t look glassy.
