So, getting ready to apply Epoxycoat, and in addition to filling in some small holes, I need to remove some small areas of white paint which the previous owners must have spilled on the floor (or have oversprayed when spraying something placed on the floor).

Rather than manually going over with coarse-grit sandpaper, is there a cheap attachment I can get for my angle grinder or drill which will quickly remove the paint from the concrete? Perhaps a wire-brush attachment? Thanks for any suggestions!

I bought a 4" masonry stone for my angle grinder from home depot to take off some of my high spots and it works really well... Haven't tried it on the paint yet but I would assume it would work as long as you cut the high stuff off with a razor blade then kinda skim it quick

I used Acetone, putty knife and pressure washer to get my paint spots up - the Acid may help losen it up too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found a 4.5" grinding disc in Harbor Freight which is designed for paint removal and it works a treat on the garage floor. Just make sure you wear a decent respirator as it generates a considerable amount of dust!
