Epoxyshield clearcoat - need a second coat

Hello,

I recently applied Epoxyshield Professional to my garage floor followed by the premium clearcoat about 36 hours later. The clear looked good when I applied it, however, upon drying, I noticed I missed several spots. It has been 4 days since I applied the clear coat. Do I need to sand or the floor in order for the second coat to adhere properly?

Thanks in advance!

Most likely yes, I used Pitt-Thane for my top coat. Anything past 72 hours and sanding is recommended.

Ouch. Doesn't sound like fun. I'll just sand around the spots I missed and repaint those small areas. I don't want to sand all 400 sq ft just to fix what amounts to ~8 sq ft of painted area.
