Anyone have any experience with Eppys.com tool club? Is it worth the trouble joining or am I better off just shopping around like I usually do for mechanics tools, etc? I'm about to pick up an E46 330i BMW and will need all sorts of tools to supplement the tool set I have used for working on Honda's.
Thanks

We use eppy's for everything that does not come off a truck at work. My boss has the actual membership, and he uses it for shop tools/equipment but I have gotten a few things through him as well. Basically, you need to make a list of a few tools you KNOW you will need and add up the savings by being a member and see if it makes joining worth it to you. For me, It isnt because I have slowed down on tool buying for a while.

Club prices appear to be slightly higher than tooltopia and toolwarehouse .. how is the customer service?

Oh, well I forgot to include my boss lives a few towns over so we usually save on shipping as well. Some items are hit or miss as far as prices go, its usually a toss up between them and the tool warehouse, but not paying for shipping if I need one little thing usually makes up the difference for me

I just checked the prices on their website. Its only 10 bux a year for membership so if you are buying anything big, paying the 1 year fee would save enough money to make it worth it. That being said, some of the prices seem artificially high. Some stuff looked reasonable or even well priced but some of it looked way over what it should be. Comparision shop to see if you can get a better price on what you are going to buy before buying.... well anything from anyone =-)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll compare some of the prices now. I just wanted to make sure this place was okay by members of this board.
