Assuming that the new vise grips coming out of Dewitt this spring live up to the quality of the originals, that could be interesting to include in the event.

Normally it's in July, for 3-5 days around the 4th. HJE, SK, and some forum members previously involved usually make some threads. IMO it's a bit early to speculate.

I'll likely be ordering around that time anyway to replenish my drill bit stock. Worst case I could probably hold out until this time next year, but I don't like to run low. It's a "amercian-ism" sort of event, so even in the highly unlikely event it was not put on, you could still buy stuff. The HJE website is worth combing through for stuff like long cabinet screwdrivers, mirrors and picks, brass punches, etc. Lots of little BS items we all need/buy throughout the year; and HJE is competitive on nearly all of those items. Budget an extra $50+, and you can get lot of little niceties along with your order.

The question is will SK have anything new to offer this year?:bounce:

SK needs to make a double box version of the x-frame, in standard length. I wanted a set of those today. Everybody had 12 point long double box, SK could have 12 point fixed, and X-frame ratcheting ends. Normal wrench length, they'd own the market. I'd buy them.
