I don't think that overtime is screwing over the workers. I'm fine with it being for a week, though. I, also, don't care whether there is a significant delay <1 month would be fine for me.

I agree that a week would be good. July 4th is on a Thursday so I'll run the specials from the 4th through the 11th. More details to follow. Will definitely do t-shirts again this year. Not sure SK will have those flex ratchets ready but we'll come up with something good for you guys. : )

+1
If it's creating employee scheduling issues, I would be fine waiting longer or adjusting as needed. The idea is to find some good tool buys and support US manufacturing and independently owned business.

Ok what the hell?!

Haven't been on the hje site for a while. Trying to pull it up on my phone and computer I get all these pages referencing the site...but not the actual site. WTF

Question: I was getting my wishlist together and was looking for the channellock 2012 but didn’t see them listed. Would you be able to special order them?

Each year, on the 4th of July, HJE hosts a special event for GJ members. There are usually some sale items available, and Jori often works with a few of his vendors to offer additional deals. Each year a special t-shirt is designed as a thank you, and is available with qualifying purchases.

HOWEVER, it should be noted, that this event ISN'T about what HJE can do for us. The event is about what we can do for HJE.

This event is about GJ members supporting a small American business (mostly by buying US made tools) by spending our tool dollars at a Ma & Pa store in the heartland, rather than at the local corporate big box stores full of imports that don't support American jobs as much as they could.

In the past, our involvement in this event has significantly boosted one store's ability to stay in business (consequentially adding to their local economy), bounced that same store up several degrees on one manufacturers purchasing chain (resulting in better pricing and profit margins), boosted one manufacturer's ability to rebuild and hire back unemployed former employees, and caused another manufacturer to hire new employees while expanding.

So, the annual HJE Day event is about supporting the US economy, not about "what can I get for cheap".

Can't wait! This will be my 4th year participating, I'm even more excited after flying out and visiting the store with my dad before Thanksgiving last year!

Looking for some USA made impact swivels! But even if you don't have those on sale, I'm looking forward to it anyway!

I could use the Wilde hook and pick set. The long thin handles would be great in tight spaces and offer good control.

When i need stuff i have bought from hje... but sometimes i wait my bad... honestly what i buy is usually not on sale and the chryo bits ruined my exhaust manifold, when the bits broke and got stuck and i couldn't drill a hardened bit .... i am still pissed about that when my champion bits worked fine...

I can't blame them and they sell cool stuff, so i still buy from them.. hell anyone in Phoenix recommend a mom and pop shop the same? I think not, but i could be wrong....

Marks nuts and bolts... my bad off topic...
