I didn't need anything.... bad part I granted her access to the savings account and she blew up I had more than she thought..... I called it my truck fund.... those days are gone... my denal hd has 26550 on it 2012....
I try to express to her that need is relative word and then try to incorporate some sort of tool into any home project that she wants me to do.

Sounds like you won't win that argument, my 2013 laramie 1500 is 87k so I'm inching towards talking her into letting me get a 2500, it'll be a few years before that happens still I'm sure.

Got my first order yesterday of the things that were in stock. Ajax air chisel bits, Channel locks, Eagle Grips and SK sockets and some swag. Obviously for security reasons, can’t show decipher disc. Those Eagle Grips are a great quality pair of pliers. Jokingly told Jori maybe he could change it to Saint Epstein’s Day and HJE could be the patron Saint of American tools and products and asked them to draw Saint Epstein for box art and this is what I got. Pretty Awesome. Plus got a small trophy, wasn’t expecting that. Will have to set them aside to go into the HJE Museum. Maybe HJE can make some T-Shirts with St. Epstein on them,Jori.
Still have two orders coming on back order. Can’t wait to get them. Thanks HJE1B6290B4-FE52-4D43-BB6A-0566BE537B30.jpeg4E687CE6-3E40-4A67-A6E1-1314FF9CE06C.jpeg

But are you the hero if you can fix something with all your tools without having to call an outside repair service?
Absolutely! Thats how I justify all of the tools. My wife does tell me all the time how much money we save because I fix EVERYTHING we have. I have still never paid anyone to change my oil in the 20 years I’ve been driving.

I was in for a couple of Crescent wrenches, the ever delightful "Mystery Bag", and of course some Box Art.
IMG_6157.JPG

The Mystery Bag was a 3/8 Wright Tool 1112 USA combo wrench with the Wright Tool logo ground off and something that looks like a cosmoline covered reamer.

I missed this post (#94) from Jori "And finally, every Epstein's Day order will include the official HJE Super Secret Cipher, a disc that will let you decode secret messages from Epstein's that will give you access to lots of deals in the future. These discs will be for sale after Epstein's Day but you guys will be the first to get them, seeing as you're already part of our secret society of tool addicts."

I'm totally psyched up for this...... unless it tells me to drink my Ovaltine. ;)

Received my order a few days ago but this is the first chance I've had to post it:

image0 (1).jpeg

A few Crescent wrenches, Channellock end cutters and Wright hose clamp pliers. I bought two of everything so I can keep one set here and another set at my dad's house.

I asked for random box art and I received a flower that looks very similar to the lilies in my garden:

I received my HJE box on Saturday and opened it this afternoon.

I ordered some Husky tools:
scratch awls
cotter pin pullers
Robertson #1 and #2 drivers

Craftsman security bit set
double ended dental pick
6” machinist square
Wilde hose clamp pliers

one Mystery bag which had two pairs of tweezers.

There is not a picture of the Top Secret Tool since that was packed in a secret spot in the box.

The box art is a Golden Retriever wearing a firefighters helmet.

This will definitely get a spot of honor in my garage. Hopefully I make it back to KC before too long and can shake the hand of the artist. This is some darn fine work!

I can't find that cord on there in 25ft, I have the 50' and like it more than a person should like an extension cord:)

First Epstein's Day order, ever. I didn't even know this existed until I came here. I love it, especially the box art! Ordered a 3/8 drive Wright socket set (first Wright set, figured I would give it a try), a 1/4 drive Wright ratchet, a Milton tire pressure gauge, and a 1/4 Wright combo wrench to finish off my home set. I got a little extra something special too!

I've been looking for some of those drawer stickers/magnets do you have the link for them I'm having trouble searching for them. Thanks.
I just ordered some from HJE on 7/12/21, got a email from them that they are out of stock and they have ordered more. So I have to wait until they get more from SK. I found some listed on Amazon, but for twice the price.

Check with Jori. I actually ordered the 25 ft yellow. This was a substitution, which I was fine with. I agree. Great cord.

I actually ordered that yellow 25ft cord, and the packaging says its 25ft, but the cord is 50ft. Go figure.

It's funny because it was a completely off-the-cuff comment that I decided to write as best I could in early modern (Shakespearean) English.
"Vendor true, vouchsafe to me the most divine of thy wares t'which hath enabled Man to work so! Has't a joyous and Happy Epstein's Day!
Hark! I desire thy finest boxeth art! Prithee, wouldst thee draweth a flying rodent, a creature of the night? Grant that this creature be a member of the most beautiful mariachi band from the lands south of the border, if thou wouldst be so kind?"

Trophy worthy indeed 👏

First Epstein Day order for me. When it arrived, I felt like Steve Martin when the new phone book came.

Asked for box art of a 67 Camaro, should have thought to specify color. LOL The 15 items (one backorder that arrived the next day) were really well packed. Because I'm a little bigger than your average bear I don't tend to get much use from swag items but both hats and the shirt fit!

The Eagle grips are like jewelry compared the used vice grips I've always had. Really happy to have all the Channellock pliers, another tool category where I've never owned new ones. I can't think of any use I have for the 15 inch Crescent wrench, but it's pretty nice. The strap wrench is awesome cast-iron old school USA construction.20210721_182441.jpg

Still waiting for my package. Shipped via post. Things are often slow to get here but I'm usually OK with that. Anyone know if they keep tracking numbers for the postal shipments? Don't want to bother them but would like to see where it's at!

Look on your shipping notice from HJE, it should say both the carrier and the tracking number.

Sincere question; what make Epstein's extension cords so remarkable?
Good price on a heavy gauge, very flexible, cold weather insulation cord. There are others out there, too, but of course these are available on Epstein's Day!

Happily put in my order just before I left for vacation, with the request to hold it back and not ship for a bit (the porch pirates around here are a scourge!). Thanks to HJE, my latest tool additions arrived safely today, with some sweet box art I'll have to share with you all (think bats, birds, and light sabers...).

Photos to come soon, once I unbox everything! Thanks HJE and GJ!

My order arrived today. Requested cats playing poker for the box art. Goodies included hole saw set, Christmas machete set, various screwdrivers, Klein pliers, chemical gloves, first aid kit boxes, bit holders, big roll of webbing, tweezers, SK wrench set, wire brushes, magnets, Ajax hammer bit, and other things. Got the decoder and a trophy for 2021 Epstein Day Closeout King! Laughed like a little kid at Christmas.
