I happen to live very close to Epstein's and noticed a mason I know posting about their building having some structural brick issues. In his video on Instagram, the sidewalk in front of their building is closed and scaffolding has been erected. I know the mason that's doing the work, so I know they're in good hands, but y'all might spend some money with them to help with that facade restoration bill that's in their near future. For those that don't know, they're in a very old historic brick building in downtown KC. The area is referred to as the garment district and is now mostly loft/condo's. I can remember a time when that area was being redeveloped and there was an effort by developers to push them out. The chair of the Kansas City Art Institute sculpture department was a big supporter and helped them spruce up their store front to help stave off the criticism from developers that the property was blighted and need to be redeveloped. Maybe Jori will chime in if I'm remembering this wrong, but Epstein's could easily be over priced condos if some prominent Kansas Citian's hadn't stepped in to show their support for one of the few unique locally owned businesses left in downtown KC

I think they should move to my town.

Got my order a while back but haven't had a chance to post until now. A few odds and ends that I didn't have/just because and replacements for Chinesium hammers. The gas mask bag had a cool surprise inside but I have no idea what the red stuff is.

Epstein's Day provides us with the support to not just fix our building (kyrbz noticed we were having brickwork done) but also to buy deals like this, so if I haven't said it recently, "Thank you guys for everything you do for us!" In the meantime, feast your eyes on 77,000 American-made steel rules. Just landed in the warehouse. Wish it would've come a month earlier but oh well.

I'm new to the forums, what's Epsteins day and what's up with the cool art? Looks like I missed it this year :(

No photo this year, but happy to say my order arrived a couple of weeks ago, safely packaged and art-adorned! Might need to make another order now that I see all the cool stuff I missed this year...

Placing a second order to grab all the cool stuff you see on this thread is pretty much a necessity.
It’s pretty much like they should have a secret category for “cool stuff GJ members bought recently”. It’s so hard to wade thru all their different categories to find stuff you don’t know you need, or want, until you see it.

Who knew I needed bomb tethers? I was hoping they’d be a bit more flexible to use as leash holders, but I will find a use for them, one day.

I'm stuck overseas right now but my wife commented about the package "with the weird painting" on it. 😁

Looking forward to opening it in November as an early Christmas present!

Wasn't for HJE Day, just a recent order for some nice stuff. Pretty much all USA made here except the Facom ball end hex made in France. I needed another 6-in-1, couldn't pass up those Vaughan hammers for the price, and that Craftsman stubby T25 torx will get used a lot.

I really like the handle on those Channellock screwdrivers. Comfortable and easy to clean. Nice haul!
