Equipment values - equipment to sell

I'm selling my deceased father's metal equipment, but I need some advice on values and how to market

I have the following equipment:
Atlas TH54 Lathe
Atlas 7B Shaper
Atlas Change-O-Matic MF Mill
South Bend 9" Model A Lathe w/QC

Also have a massive WR Concord Lathe and Aledo Cutter of some sort.

Pricing and best way to advertise this equipment for sale would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear of your Father's passing.
There are too many variables to give a good answer:
1. Where are you located? Some areas are more costly than others.
2. What condition is your Father's equipment in?
3. How fast do you need to get rid of it? Sell it yourself, you will do better than hiring an Auctioneer, but you will have to invest time & labor to sell it.

Pricing: Most of the time I check the local Craigslist listing and the CL listings of the 6 large cities that surround my location. I also check the SOLD Ebay listings.

Atlas and South Bend stuff should probably be advertised at one of the home machining type sites. Good photos from various angles, definitely some photos of the ways near the headstock to show any wear. Make sure that you list tools and accessories for each of the machines and the correct ones for each. Check ebay sold items for some of a guide to pricing.

Depending on your location, access to the machinery, and time frame to have it gone, will all have an impact on price.

Now for the Concord and Aledo, I suspect that they are more of a big shop item, and Practical Machinist might be a better place to list them. Be sure and read the posting guidelines prior to posting and follow them closely. Please be sure to post them in the correct area too.
There is a wealth of knowledge there, but as most members of the forum and the site owner are full time machinist and shop owners, they are hard on those that do not read and adhere to the guidelines. Machinery that would be found in a commercial shop is fine, but hobby type stuff is not welcome.

Pricing depends on condition and included tooling.
As others have said, pics and location allow us to
make a guess.

For example, each machine is worth spare parts or
scrap metal prices if it's broken and/or incomplete.
At the other extreme, they may bring well over
$1000 each if it's complete, works, and includes
good tooling.

This is all desirable hobby stuff, so it can fetch decent
money. On the other hand, it's hobby stuff and none
of it's especially rare. So it won't bring BIG money.

You might consider a package deal for the Atlas stuff.
Some people collect brands, so you may get more for a
complete Atlas "set" than selling separately.

My father actually passed almost 15 years ago. I couldn't bring myself to selling his tools for the longest time, but the shop building is going to waste because there are 10# in a 5# bucket. Tools we're his passion, mine as well, except I never was a machinist. I need to get enough cleared to make the shop useful.

Tools are in SW MO. I understand the fact of the variables. Equipment is older, but appears to be in good shape. I don't know much about the attachments. I don't really want to have an auction although I would like sell the equipment quickly. I want to use the space.

Some pictures here will show that everything is jammed into this shop.
