Can anyone get the dimensions of the Ernst 40 piece wrench rack set?

Trying to fit things into my Proto box........with my HF socket trays, I still have a ton of room left in my deep drawers........separating everything into SAE and Metric, wanted to see if the Ernst set will fit alongside the HF trays in the same drawer.

Thanks.

Actually more interested in the width at both ends

Now that you mention the length, can extra spots be "snapped off"? I thought I read on some of their wrench racks they could.

Not sure my drawers are deep enough for 17".

I see Ernst is making 3 different kinds of wrench organizers: They've got a carry around one, they've got wrench rails, and they've got the stationary racks that look like the WrenchRack brand.

Which one were you referring to?

How many wrenches to are you wanting to put up on a rack?

Looking at the "40 tool space saver", here: http://www.ernstmfg.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_20&products_id=68

I dont have an exact count, I know i have plenty fewer than what the racks can hold. I just wanted to be able to throw all my metric and SAE stuff in their own drawers (rachets, sockets and wrenches). The space saver setup from Ernst looks like it will work....I have 3 of the Hansen trays in each drawer, and the declining size of each makes the perfect shape for the Ernst space saver rack to fit, I just need to verify the width on each end.

The link you show is adjustable in width. It's magnetic. you an make it as wide or as narrow as you need. I have the screwdriver holder from Ernst and it works the same way. I believe they also make a stick down version as well. I prefer the magnetic on because you can adjust as your need change.

I dont see why you couldnt cut off what you dont need ? I havent seen these organizers.. I like them, I may get myself one. My current ones just waste space as I cant put much on the sides of them. What I want is.. a rack like that one, but sits the wrenches at a 90 degree angle and keeps them pretty close. That'll save space !

Like danc333 stated above, the rails are adjustable. The maximum width you need is whatever the longest wrench you have. And yes, you can cut them down to whatever length you need. For example, my cman drawers are only 15" deep, so I cut one notch off and the rails fit perfect.
