Me too, that is what I used on my other H.E. traditional furnaces. What's amazing is how many places aren't familiar with concentric vents.

the price has some not using them. I get one for about $85, a few pvc fittings cost $12-$15. They both work, one looks better, to me at least.
Thought the idea on EVR was to have the inlet and outlet at least 4’ apart ? And the inlet 6’ from other devices like the cloths dryer, water heater and furnace vents.
It’s very common in this area to place the EVR in the corner with the inlet on one wall and the outlet around the corner.

Yup, in our new construction house the HRV exhaust is by the furnace and water heater exhaust, and the intake is about 15' away from them near nothing else.

You need them separate ... and away from any heater vents.
Agreed with keeping away from heater vents.
I take it you don't care for the concentric vent kits then?
The pictures above: -- Right is one I have used for a dryer and bathroom exhaust ... I have switched to using a metal one from dryer box.
I do like using the concentric for boilers and furnaces -- typically you can find a space on the building to hide the thing ... it looks better vs having the typical ugly self made PVC mess.
I don't see it as valuable for an HRV/ERV ... with furnace a bit of mixing will not be any problem ... seems not something you want with an HRV/ERV. For years all the manufacturers made a big point of separation -- very specific places for each. Now concentric ? Sounds like -- let's change the rules to make it more affordable.
I'm actually not a huge fan of HRV/ERVs -- I have had good success with controlled intake through a dehumidifier. Combined with good exhaust venting in bathrooms and kitchen.
