Anyone here own one? I did a quick google and it looks like it's a solid welder. Looks a little long in the tooth, so i'm wondering about parts availability?

One popped up for a pretty good deal. I might pull the trigger.

I have one, it's a great machine. It may not be the latest and greatest but it's a solid machine that will do a good job for many years if cared for.

The Mat Tech's at my work use those machines. They like them, never heard parts availability was an issue. I believe we have the same unit pictured as well as a TIG unit.

I sold a bunch of these to the guy who built the railings at Golden Nugget. He had no complaints then, and I believe they're still going now, 9 years later.

Thanks guys. Waiting to hear back from the craigslist seller. When they don't post a number, it's a waiting game.

Same here. I bought my used of course because I'm a cheap *******. It came with a shop built add on tank dolly so you could drag two tanks of gas around with you and a spool gun. Take about 30 seconds to switch from welding steel to aluminum. Even came with some spare bits for $1K :rocker:

We upgraded from a Hobart 180 to a esab 250. No regrets, fantastic unit. A local company made us a new gun and it purrs like a kitten.
