Bought an older black face Millermatic 200 (1985) with the stich/pulse panel, cart / bottle rack and a tweco no.4 gun today for $135....The son of the previous owner said it was working a few years ago but hasn't been used since. Dirty and dusty, going to the local welder service shop next week to have it checked.

No need for shop. I've gone through several of these.

The contactor switch for voltage gets gummed up with old grease and dust. Take it apart and clean it and lightly hit it with Scotch-Brite and I go through and do all the grounds on the whole machine. Clean everything blow it out make sure it is set up for 220 and not 440 and you should be in business.

Extremely killer deal btw. You ****...

My apologies folks, here you go. I already installed new wheels and casters, the old ones were shot. I'll send pictures of the "guts" on another day. Thanks for the tips about cleaning, it's wired 220 single phase. There's a welder sales and repair shop about two miles down the road. I'll probably have them check it out before plugging it in.....I also just picked up a Lincoln 225 ac/dc almost brand new for $150, also single phase. Now if I can get that old reed 4C vise I'm looking at....

Yeah, thats a screaming deal on both machines. I have a similar vintage MM200, paid $350 for mine and I thought I was getting a great deal.
