Went over last night and picked up a Darra James 350 drill press. works 100% nice & tight. Just needs a good clean up. Has the original Western Electric motor.
Box of drills, Weller soldering gun and the press for $100. not the deal of the day, but she just lost her husband so what are you going to do.
Found an odd left hand taper dill 7/32 - 1/4" three flute. can not find enough markings on it but it looks like "unitwist" Any one ever see one before?

What interests me is the 3 flutes and the tapered left hand twist. Almost a reamer, but left handed. I have been around tools over 50 years and never seen anything like them.

That might not be a drill. It may be a reamer for taper pins. 1/4" per foot taper.

The left hand twist may be to discourage use of power tools to drive it.

I have the same Darra James Drill, but mounted on table saw legs.
