That is a very nice little haul, more than a few things I would have been happy to grab myself.

Wow-
A haul for sure. That little tap & die set in the yellow case looks to be Craftsman late 60's early 70's.
Nice selection of tools.

I think your reamers are stud extractors. At least I couldn't see any reamers there. At any rate - you **** buddy.

Very nice haul indeed!
You ****, especially for that price!

One little piece of advise though, might save you a little wasted time...
Railroad spikes make really lousy cold chisels.
WAY too soft...

I guess it would work if you were desperate and had plenty of time to resharpen, but personally, I gave up on the idea pretty quickly and just switched to a proper cold chisel.

Very nice indeed!
I sure miss yard sales and flea markets, they don't have anything but poor quality yard sales out this way. I will be moving to Texas this year so looking forward to warmer weather and the yard sales!

Thanks, JASTECH

that klein hammer is an electricians hammer. notice the long nose on it., it is made for hammering inside electrical boxes. good score.

Hey, how about some close up shots of the SK sets? And an inventory. I find I'm interested in old SK lately...

Yeah I can't use the spike for chiseling grade 8 bolts....lol

But i work in plumbing and they work pretty good for caping out brass plugs and *******.

Yeah I guess if your only using it for brass and ******* (....) It would work.

There's not enough carbon (if I remember my metallurgy) in them to heat treat them to be hard enough to use on even soft steel though.
