Picked this up at an Estate Sale yesterday.
I'm guessing WWII vintage.
48 drawers... VERY HEAVY even with all the drawers out

Wood chisels, metal chisels, gobs and gobs of wood screws, brass hinges, washers, hose clamps, thread chasers, pipe ******* and elbows, files, pop rivit gun with a drawer full of rivits, etc etc

What is worse is when I pointed it out to my wife she said "get it before someone else does"

I was just jazzed about the cabinets for that price. With full drawers? You scored!

That's worse? You are a lucky man!!

Just to turn the tables a bit... years ago (marriage #1, 4 car garage + shop) I had a chance to get a set of car lifts and a cherry picker for the shop. Same kind of deal - estate sale, and they only wanted $400 for the works - and yes, they worked. Ex-hubby says "No, don't spend the money, you don't need it." and, as they say, put his foot down.

It wasn't the only episode of such misgivings, but enough happened that, well, notice I'm talking about the EX-hubby...
