I’ve don’t think that I’ve ever seen that many tools at an estate sale before.

It looks like a huge undocumented mess. This one is way bigger than the biggest two estate sales I have been to and those two listed every single item. I guess this is why it's the auction house doing the work.

There’s actually a few gems in there if you could get them at the right prices. That Pexto box brake will bring high $$ if someone knows what it is. The Starrett stuff will add up pretty quick too. I would suspect a knowledgeable auctioneer will break out the high $ stuff and bundle the low $ stuff to keep the auction time down.

That's a shop where a lot of work has been done over the years by someone who was more interested in getting the job done than in how the shop looked while doing it. Personally, I drives me nuts to work in a space like that but I know several guys who do really good work who's shops look like that.

Looks like an auction for a small transmission shop, nothing particularly noteworthy to me. I’d go if I was local, but I attend and occasionally auctioneer many similar sales every summer.

not a fan of auctions but in this case the sheer volume of stuff might result in some good bargains sneaking through.
some cool vintage machines too.

Looks like a '53 Loewy coupe. Might be worth more if it were original.
That could take a year to sort though. The auctioneer will likely sell it in "piles" to save a lot of time.

Dang that’s a huge collection. Some of that stuff is probably really collectible I also see some not too collectible things. That’s by far the most things I’ve ever seen at an Estate Sale. The guy was a mechanic and owned a shop so that’s probably how he accumulated all of it. I looked up his name and found his obituary. He owned a transmission shop. That’s my dream to own a shop. I sure wish I had this much space for all my stuff. I’ve got tons of family out in Kansas and other Midwest places I’ll tell them to buy it for me LOL.
