Really bummed when I saw this at Home Depot (replacing TC ones). Guess I'll have to keep going straight to the source :)

I noticed that their sledges are no longer US made either. I snagged the last one at my HD in a sea of Taiwan sledges.

Estwing. Best. Hammers. Ever.

When I'm in any tool store or tool section in a big-box store, and happen to walk past the hammer display, I have to stop and salute the Estwings. Makes me want to buy one every time.

Now, if they were only available in red.

Estwing only makes a small amount of stuff here, they've expanded their lines quite heavily with Taiwan manufacturers. They also bid lowest to secure distribution at Home Depot (whom kicked out Vaughan which is all USA) so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see more import.
