Just noticed that we got some more pry bars from Estwing and the PB-18's came in US made. They've been imported for a long time, so it looks like Estwing is joining the growing movement of smaller US manufacturers to replace the import parts of their line with domestic products. Great news for US manufacturing!

Awesome. The no price increase part is nice as well. (although I usually pay the "premium" for US Stuff).

Like you said, we need more companies bringing stuff BACK to the US.

This is just great to see. It makes me happy to see some jobs coming back to our shores.

My thoughts exactly. The "Made in USA" movement as I call it is starting. Consumers see that Chinese made items are usually junk, and are beginning to look more for quality. A turnaround in the economy is key. (Yes, I know, some people still just want whatever is cheapest, and we will never be able to change that.)

I used that bar all Summer and it was US made, part of the reason I bought it. Bought it in late Spring 2012 at a Home Depot, never knew there was foreign made ones...in any case, good to see more stuff brought back!:rocker:

BTW, that bar is AWESOME for wrecking/demo! The guys I worked with, who do building full time, also commented on it and grew to really like it! For anyone thinking about it, order it!

That is really great news! I saw a Hyde display the other day as well and everything was made in the US. Hopefully they have switched back as well.
