Etching indoors with phosphoric acid

It's my first time etching. This project involves etching a 1500 sq ft basement with H&C Concrete Etching Solution.

In the instructions it calls for triple rinsing after the application; however, I can't use a hose or a pressure washer to rinse the area so the plan so far is to use mop buckets and perhaps a mop or a clean broom to scrub the area.

My question is, is that enough? I've read that you can use baking soda mixed with water as a neutralizing solution but I've seen most of that done on muriatic acid washes. The instructions above do not mention the application of a neutralizing solution either.

Also, any general advice for a first timer is desperately needed, welcomed and appreciated.

Sounds like a messy project. They do offer power washer attachments that you push around and vacuum extract the water.

You could just rent a shot blaster and knock that out in half a day virtually dust free. Much better prep as well.

Sounds like a mess in the making but with a vacuum I'm thinking grinding might be better. No expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once!

We have thousands of customers that mop with a water TSP so,union with zero adhesion issues. Mop again with clean water after TSP.
