Of course one of the first installeted was a fridge a friend don't want no more, perfect look for the garage / Just need a few restauration... and more beer inside !!!

That's a quite cool old structure! I have a similar garage in size and style, although a bit smaller, and a bit younger.....

I'm living not that far away from you, just south in fact, close to Geneva, in the "Pays de Gex".

Here were the cows

25 tons were extracted !

preparing new ground

Mixer truck with long arm going upon neighbor's garage

Replacing some old wood parts

before isolation,I write this" 08/05/2009, PM do this work. It was a sunny day ". When poeple will discover these words ?

And that's continue, building wall between future living room and the barn

My idea was to built the wall with a big window, so I can see my car parked since my rocking chair in the living, but she say " NO!"

Hello and Welcome,

My Granddaughter toured Europe in 2007 and France was her Favorite country.....she's now taking French in school. :)

My Father was in LaHavre in 1945 on his way to Germany, I have a French Banknote he signed and dated while there. He was in the 69th Infantry Division, They are Famous for "East meets West" linkup with the Russians in Torgau Germany in April 1945. Unfortunatly he wasn't there as he was wounded in combat and was in hospital in England by then.

Here are a few photos taken by my Granddaughter:

Hey Philgood i hope you don´t mind that I´m writing this in english but at the moment i don´t have time to look up some words in french.(Oder sprichst du auch deutsch?:bounce:) I have a 94 Passat Variant 2,0 automatic. It started shifting bad and after some research I found out that the trans oil has to be changed every 60000km.After changing its shifts perfect now he has 273000km.
the newer Passat (3b/3bg) also got these problems (tiptronik TT5) I think it is the same as in your Bus.VW tells you that the TT5 auto oil does not have to be changed in order a lot of transmissions break down(especially the diesel 2.5tdi lots of torque).Damn sorry for the journey into automatic historie:lol_hitti

Hello philgood

Nice farm, with cool things to do. Where are you from in Jura ? (My father comes from Salins les Bains).
I'm a garage enthousiast and mine is on progress in and old industrial building of 1000 Ft square by floor (two) where i made a loft on first floor and a mecanic workshop down stairs (http://www.kustom-garage.fr) to make cool motorbikes and hot rods.

My wife ask me to work on loft before workshop too...
Best regards and good chance for next step...

A+
Francis
