EVAP/Fuel connector install tool

I don't know its official name, here's a picture

to install these connectors....

My install tool/gun finally crapped out. It's been a pile of garbage since day one (Dorman, go figure )

Any recommendations on who makes a good one?

Dorman is the only brand I have ever seen.

Heat the tubing in boiling water and jam the connector on.

It ain't easy to get the water boiling under the car

Make some tube clamps out of wood and use a caulk gun.

I used to think that, when installing sprinkler lines. Then a friend showed me a trick. Put the boiling water in a thermos, and dip the line into it.

I’ve built custom tools for those at an old job. You might be able to modify a line flair tool.
