Hi, I want to see what people are using as far as the solutions or fluids in their smoke machines. I just bought an older snap on eeld302b. I don't have a snap on truck stopping here and I haven't found anything online. The manual give a number for the solution, but it must be outdated. I see OTC fluid refills are easy to find online, the UltraTraceUV Dye Smoke Solution. Anyone use this or other fluids in the Snap On machines? Is it all close to the same? Are there problems I should watch for? Also, is most shops using nitrogen? And when do you use nitrogen, just for the evap to prevent fire?
As far as extra fittings, I have one for a schrader valve and the little pointy one on the end of the hose. No other plugs or cones. So I have found those online from OTC. Thanks for any info!
