Never installed a mini split before and have yet to buy the unit.
It will serve a ~500 sq ft room inside my shop. So a 12-15 BTU unit I believe.
From my research I've not seen the need for a neutral in these units except for the control wiring.
Would there ever be a need for a neutral from the main panel to the outdoor unit?
Plan is to run three #10 THHN(blk, red, green) to serve the outdoor unit.
I thought maybe I should run a neutral wire while I'm at it, in case something in the future may require it. But, I'm not so sure it would ever be needed.
And, I got no white #10. LOL
Thanks
